# Box

Connect the **Box** content cloud over its REST API — files and people, and the governance surface around them.

## What Myrmex Can Do

## Before You Start

* A Box **app** with client credentials grant enabled, and your enterprise id.
* A **Collector** that can reach it.

<Tip>
  Scope the credential to what Myrmex should reach. A narrower one still connects — it just leaves the agents with less reach.

## Add the Integration in Myrmex

From the **Directory**, choose **Add Integration → Box**, then fill in:

| Field | Description |
| - | - |
| **Name** | A unique name for this instance. |
| **Description** | Optional note to identify it. |
| **Client id / Client secret** | The Box app's OAuth credentials. |
| **Enterprise id** | Your Box enterprise identifier. |
| **Subject type** | `enterprise` or `user` — the scope the token acts under. |
| **Subject id** | The identifier of that enterprise or user. |
| **As user** | Act on behalf of a specific user. |
| **Authentication Type** | `oauth2-ccg` — client credentials grant. |
| **Api base / Token url** | The Box API and token endpoints. |
| **Collector** | The [Collector](/documentation/agent-endpoint-security/collector-mode) that reaches it. |

## Connect
