# SensrIT

> Connect Tivit SensrIT (ITSM) to Myrmex — over its REST API or straight to its PostgreSQL database, through a Collector.

Connect **SensrIT**, the ITSM platform built by **Tivit**, so Myrmex can work with your service-management data alongside the rest of your environment. [Hydra](/documentation/ai-agents/hydra) operates it live through a [Collector](/documentation/agent-endpoint-security/collector-mode) on your network, reading on demand with nothing stored on the Myrmex side.

<Note>
  SensrIT is one of the few connectors that offers **two access types**. You
  configure credentials for each one, and Myrmex uses whichever suits the
  request.

  SensrIT is Tivit's own ITSM. Use this connector when you reach service
  management through the **Tivit SensrIT gateway**; the separate **ServiceNow**
  connector is for a native ServiceNow instance.
</Note>

## Before You Start

* A **SensrIT account** for the integration — the same credentials work for both access types.
* For **REST** access: the SensrIT API host, reachable from the Collector over HTTPS. The default is `gwitsm.tivit.com`.
* For **PostgreSQL** access: the database host, port, database name and a user that can read it.
* A **Collector** that can reach whichever endpoint you choose.

<Tip>
  Scope the account to what Myrmex should reach. A narrower account still
  connects — it just leaves the agents with less reach.
</Tip>

## Choose an Access Type

The integration form shows both under **Access Configurations**, as two tabs:

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="rest" icon="cloud-arrow-down">
    The SensrIT REST API over HTTPS, with **basic authentication**. Use this
    when you want to go through the product's own API.
  </Card>

  <Card title="postgres" icon="database">
    A direct connection to the SensrIT **PostgreSQL** database. Use this for
    read access to the underlying data.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

## Add the Integration in Myrmex

From the **Directory**, choose **Add Integration → SensrIT**, then fill in:

| Field | Description |
| - | - |
| **Name** | A unique name for this SensrIT instance. |
| **Description** | Optional note to identify it. |
| **Collector** | The [Collector](/documentation/agent-endpoint-security/collector-mode) that reaches SensrIT. |

Then complete the tab for each access type you want to use.

**rest**

| Field | Description |
| - | - |
| **Protocol** | `https` (default) or `http`. |
| **URL** | The API host, without scheme (default `gwitsm.tivit.com`). |
| **Port** | API port (default `443`). |
| **Username** / **Password** | The account's credentials, sent as basic authentication. |
| **Status Endpoint** | The path Myrmex calls to test the connection (default `/api/health`). |

**postgres**

| Field | Description |
| - | - |
| **Host** | The PostgreSQL host the Collector can reach. |
| **Port** | Database port (default `5432`). |
| **Database** | Database name (default `postgres`). |
| **Username** / **Password** | The database user and its password. |
| **SSL Mode** | `disable`, `require`, `verify-ca` or `verify-full`. |

<Note>
  The integration is tied to the **context** you have selected when you create
  it — see [Core concepts](/documentation/getting-started/concepts#how-your-account-is-organized).
</Note>

## Connect

Click **Connect** to validate and finish. SensrIT then appears in the **Directory** under its category group. New to integrations? See the [Integrations overview](/documentation/integrations/overview).
