Through the Hydra agent, Myrmex becomes the single point of control for your varied security and infrastructure assets.
Hydra is designed to orchestrate across:
  • Network Security: Firewalls (Fortinet, pfSense, Cisco, Palo Alto).
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, and OCI.
  • SaaS Ecosystems: Office 365 and Google Workspace.
  • SIEM/Security Tools: Wazuh, Elastic Security, and Trend Micro.
Every asset connected to Myrmex receives a unique Integration ID. When you ask Hydra to perform an action (like “block an IP on the firewall”), you specify this ID so the AI knows exactly which instance to target.
Yes! For devices that don’t have a specialized API tool, Hydra can establish secure, interactive SSH sessions to execute CLI commands directly, offering granular control over switches, routers, and legacy systems.
Hydra uses specialized tools (like hydra_aws or hydra_gcp) that leverage native APIs to manage resources, audit configurations, and enforce security benchmarks autonomously.
When the Myrmex Endpoint Agent is set to Collector Mode, it acts as a gateway or “bridge”. It collects syslog, SNMP, or API data from external devices and sends it to the Myrmex Cloud for the AI agents to analyze.
