Connect HPE Aruba Instant On 1930/1960 and HPE OfficeConnect 1920S/1820 switches. These models expose no SSH, no CLI and no REST API, so Myrmex drives the same web interface a browser uses — the XML API on the 1930/1960 or the web pages on the 1920S/1820, detected automatically per switch.

What Myrmex Can Do

Inventory and telemetry

Port, PoE and STP state, diagnostics, and where-is-this-MAC lookups.

Configuration

VLANs, port membership, LAG, spanning tree, PoE, 802.1X, port security, DHCP snooping, ARP inspection, ACL/QoS, SNMP, syslog, users, time and routing.

Operations

Configuration backup, diff and save; ping, traceroute and cable test; reboot and image management.

Audit

Topology collection and a configuration audit.

Before You Start

  • The switch’s web credentials — the same ones you use in its browser interface.
  • A Collector that can reach it.
Scope the credential to what Myrmex should reach. A narrower one still connects — it just leaves the agents with less reach.

Add the Integration in Myrmex

From the Directory, choose Add Integration → Aruba Instant On Switch, then fill in:
The integration is tied to the context you have selected when you create it.

Connect

Click Connect to validate and finish. It then appears in the Directory. New to integrations? See the Integrations overview.
